I wonder I ponder My sympathies, I pity For the elysian prudent feller Destined to occupy me He shall descend, the papers had said To rescue the humankind Some ayes some nays, gestation delayed Four decades and he is nowhere to be found Some international some convention Brought forth the half entombed with haste A quarter hearted attempt was made To enliven the ombudsman of new age. Streets were choked , voice boxes croaked Challenging appetite , both Weans and old Tinkering with the martinets life would only flatten the warrior’s knife. Some convergence, some divergence But No one would bend Adding to the lokpal conundrum Was equivocal sense of the sovereign chamber. My hopes were high The politicos dissecting articles day and night Both in house and outside. Of a sudden things turned upside down No votes, all food Maidans evacuated ,seasoned baritones cooled. Bells rang and santas came But Without a resident ,an empty me remained Waiting for the squall to grow stronger agai...
