Amore
She was in a teal dress and white heels
And he was carrying a bunch of lillies
They exchanged glances and flowers
The twilight sky answered with showers
So they held hands and rushed
Towards the shack and she blushed
The roaring waves reflected his charms
As he ran his fingers over her wet arms
The bongo and the guitar started to play
Beating the chill surmounting the bay
They took the sips of their intoxicating drinks
And swam in each other's eyes without a blink
And then the feet started to tap with the beats
The hearts perspired from the passion and heat
So they danced fervently shedding any diffidence
Forgetting the crowd for the transcendence
And then when they were heavily breathing
He went on his knees and took out something
She stayed stunned while the ring shone like a star in her eyes
The house paused to clap with euphoric cries
They sealed their lips that whispered forever yours
The tangerine candle flames swayed with the breeze of amore
